Your AI Extractability Report
Your Buyers Stopped Searching. They Started Asking.
In 2022, a B2B SaaS buyer evaluating tools in your category typed three or four queries into Google, opened seven tabs, and made their own list. That motion is going away. By 2026, the same buyer asks ChatGPT or Perplexity "what's the best [category] tool for a [company size] team doing [specific job]" — and reads the shortlist that comes back.
AI systems don't rank pages. They retrieve passages. They pull standalone chunks of text that directly answer the user's question, attribute them to a source, and surface a small handful as the answer. If your page was written for a human reader scrolling through a hero section and decorative imagery, your content has nothing extractable. The AI scrolls past you and cites your competitor.
This audit tells you, page by page, where the gap is. Not "improve your meta description." Not "add more content." The specific structural fixes — what passages are missing, where authority signals are weak, which questions your content fails to answer cleanly — that determine whether AI cites you or skips you.
A Scorecard, Not a Sermon
No 40-page PDF. No "transformation framework." Three scores, twelve factors, a ranked fix list, and one clear next step.
Three Headline Scores
Answer Density (does your content directly respond to buyer questions), Passage Extractability (can AI pull standalone citable chunks), Citation Readiness (do you signal authority and source quality).
12-Factor Breakdown
Question coverage, schema completeness, claim attribution, internal linking depth, paragraph self-containment, source citations, definitional clarity, comparison structure — and four more, scored individually.
Ranked Fix List
5–10 page-level fixes, ordered by expected impact on extractability. What to change first, what can wait, what to leave alone. With concrete examples drawn from your actual page.

Paste your URL
Homepage, pricing page, comparison page — any single URL works. We recommend starting with whichever page handles the most decision-stage traffic.
We fetch and parse
We pull your page using the same retrieval patterns AI systems use — rendered HTML, structured data, headings, body text — and break it into the passages an AI would consider.
12-factor scoring
We score each factor against patterns we've observed in 1,500+ real AI citations across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. Not theory — empirical.

What People Ask Before Running This
Honest answers, including the things this tool doesn't do.
What does "extractability" actually mean?
Whether an AI system can pull standalone, citable passages from your page that directly answer a buyer's question. It's a structural property — about how your content is shaped, not how much of it there is. A 400-word page can be highly extractable; a 4,000-word page can be invisible.
How is this different from technical SEO?
Technical SEO optimizes for ranking algorithms — page speed, crawlability, link equity. AI extractability optimizes for retrieval and citation — passage structure, answer density, attribution patterns. You can rank well and still be invisible to ChatGPT. Most sites are.
Will fixing my score guarantee AI citations?
No. AI citation also depends on domain authority, freshness signals, and competitive density in your category. This tool removes one specific reason you're not being cited — structural inextractability. The other reasons are addressable but not from this audit alone.
Do you store my URL or content?
We log the URL and aggregate score for our own benchmarking research (which informs the scoring model). We don't store your full page content, and we never share or sell URLs. If you want your URL excluded from research aggregates, email us.
Can I run this on a competitor's page?
Yes. Many people do. It's a fair-use audit of publicly available content. Worth knowing before you ask: if their page scores higher than yours, that's information. If it scores lower and they're still being cited more, the gap is somewhere else — which is a different conversation.
What if my whole site needs work?
Run the audit on your three highest-stakes pages first — usually homepage, top comparison page, and pricing. If the pattern repeats, you have a content system problem rather than a per-page problem. That's what the diagnostic call is for.
